East Bethel Seniors

Suzanne has repeatedly used City meetings and communications to promote East Bethel Seniors activities. Her public record includes fundraising, monthly activities, senior dances, Lunch Bunch events, trips, crafting, holiday events, and volunteer opportunities.

A citywide Christmas-tree event

In 2023, Suzanne organized and publicly discussed a citywide Christmas-tree lighting at the Senior Building annex. She asked the City for help standing the tree and providing lights so donations could be directed toward decorations and the community gathering. The event continued to appear in her community updates in later years.

Park volunteers and amenities

In March 2025, she publicly thanked residents participating in Adopt-A-Park work at Coon Lake Beach and Maynard Peterson Park. Later that year she said she wanted the park system to have enough funding for amenities such as a fitness trail, permanent bag toss, and horseshoes.

Playground investment

She supported the Booster Park zipline purchase in 2025 and, during a Viking Meadows playground purchase in 2026, asked about both the development’s park-dedication contribution and the placement of the new equipment.
