A multi-year liaison role
When Suzanne completed her first Council term in December 2022, the City’s recognition specifically cited her service as liaison to the Anoka County-Blaine Airport Commission and her work encouraging citizen participation on airport issues relevant to East Bethel residents.
Bringing airport resources back to residents
In May 2023, Suzanne reported on public and business airport events, aircraft-viewing opportunities, tours, the airport’s flight-tracking resource, and the process residents could use to submit aircraft-noise complaints.
Operational reporting
Her October 2023 airport presentation covered aircraft operations, aircraft types, activity by hour, noise complaints, advisory-commission membership, and the commission work plan. The City placed another formal airport presentation by Suzanne on its May 2024 Council agenda.
Continuing regional connection
In November 2025, Suzanne again reported on airport meetings and relayed a request for communities to recruit volunteers for a regional community event.
